Litigation · Property · Community SchemesProfessional profile
I am Thifhelimbilu (Meshack) Nembudani, a South African attorney at Du Toit Burger Attorneys, with a focus on civil litigation, property-related disputes and legal issues affecting sectional title and community schemes.
My work involves High Court and Magistrates’ Court litigation, including motion proceedings, levy recovery, execution proceedings, eviction matters, and disputes relating to the management and administration of community schemes.
I value careful analysis of the facts, sound legal research and clear, practical communication. I approach each matter with attention to the evidence, the procedural requirements and the outcome that the client needs.
Breadth of experience
My experience in sectional title and community schemes spans established residential estates, smaller sectional title developments and financially distressed schemes requiring significant legal intervention.
I have worked on matters involving levy recovery, scheme governance, court-appointed administration and financial rehabilitation, as well as inner-city properties affected by serious management difficulties and unlawful occupation.
Working across schemes of different sizes, financial circumstances and management structures has given me practical insight into the legal challenges facing bodies corporate, homeowners’ associations, trustees, managing agents and property owners.
